Annan // Norfolk Wedding Photographer
Imagine this; you’re sat at home quietly editing images/watching TV and you get an enquiry for wedding photography from the lovely Gina at GLA Events. She says it will be an outdoor ceremony at Bradmoor Woods, Norfolk, and there’ll be a campfire… sounds awesome. Then she casually mentions there will also be a hog roast, bucking bronco and a horse – A HORSE!!!
Naturally I calmly, gladly, accepted. Fast forward a couple of months and I met Gina and the bride, Kayleigh, at the venue to have a look around, this only made me even more excited, converted train carriages, upside down boats, it really is stunning.
So the day finally came around, all of the groomsmen looked awesome in their tweed suits and braces. One downside of being an outdoor venue is you’re beholden to the weather, luckily, Ben and Kayleigh embraced the rain, as did the guests, even with the umbrella mishaps.
After a beautiful service we set up the longest confetti shot in the world, pretty sure I burned the calories I put on from the hog roast just walking along it. Then the horse came out and we got some beautiful family shots, ‘big bird’ certainly is one of the family.
The campfire was lit, there was a photobombing granny, a rainbow, lots and lots of rain, marshmallows and an epic location for the first dance. Overall it was a crazy, wet, fun day with some amazing people, which hopefully you’ll be able to tell from the photos.
Embrace the rain!
