These guys first contacted me early last year, they were looking for an Essex wedding photographer after booking their dream venue – Leez Priory. I get super excited when there’s an amazing venue to work at, and this one truly is. The grounds are exceptional and the tower gives an amazing backdrop for photography.
On the morning, the excellent Liz from LizStanilandHMUA got to work on no less than seven(!) bridesmaids, including probably the longest Dutch braid I have ever seen in my life. Meanwhile, the guys were getting ready in the cottage, a much more relaxed affair over there, it was great to be able to see Nick open all of his presents from his bride to be, he was definitely spoilt. Back over to the Jessica, and she was opening her gifts, I love seeing real moments, this is one of the reasons I love photographing the morning of the wedding – so many emotions and excitement.
The outdoor ceremony got underway, and the ring security looked very pleased with themselves to carry out their duties successfully. The rest of the day was very relaxed, Nick Brown, Essex Magician was there to entertain everyone, and boy did he!
Then, the finale, the first dance is one of my favourite parts of any wedding day to photograph, but especially this one, it took place outside, surrounded by tea lights – then, as soon as it ended, the fireworks display started. What a way to finish an amazing day!
In short, if you’re looking for a truly stunning venue, Leez Priory is a good bet, and if you’re getting married in Essex, and looking for a wedding photographer, then make sure you get in touch.
