Sissons Barn Wedding

On Sunday I attended another wedding fayre hosted by Nicole Smith Wedding Fayres. I love these events as it gives me a chance to speak to people who are getting married, as well as other suppliers. Nicole always picks the best venues and suppliers – anyone planning a Sissons Barn Wedding would definitely have been able to book the best in the region on Sunday.

I shoot a lot of weddings, in a lot of venues, and barn weddings are some of my favourites – venues like this are severely lacking in this area. Sissons Barn is a new venue, with the first wedding due to take place in a couple of months, and if you haven’t seen it, you really need to. The owners have created a beautiful venue, full of small details which add up to a great place to get married – the bar is especially something to behold.

As usual, there were some great suppliers there on the day offering a wide range of products; I had the pleasure of meeting ‘Letters Aglow’, these guys are relatively new, but have some really beautiful items you can hire for your day, all of their signs are hand carved! Having tried (unsuccessfully) to carve a letter once, I can assure you this is a very tricky skill to master! Also, Chef de la Maison gave me a pulled pork roll, so they definitely deserve an extra mention… Haha.

If you’re planning a Sissons Barn Wedding, or any wedding in fact, then I guarantee you will find something you love here.
