Normanton Park Hotel Wedding Photographer

Wedding Photography at Normanton Park Hotel

With the venue just being down the road, I’m often a Normanton Park hotel wedding photographer. It is a great venue, perfectly placed on the shore of Rutland water; it overlooks the reservoir and is literally a three minute walk to the superb Normanton Church where couples often choose to have their wedding ceremony before heading back the Normanton Park Hotel.

Take a look at a selection of images I have taken – all from REAL Normanton Park hotel weddings.

Photography in Rutland

As I’ve mentioned before; Rutland offers some beautiful opportunities for photography. Rutland water is home to a wide range of activities; cycling, climbing, abseiling, canoeing, raft-building, fishing and bird watching included. Each of those give the chance for a photographer to use a really fast shutter speed and freeze and action, or use a really wide angle lens, a tripod and a slow shutter speed to capture the calmness of the water during a sunset.

Another thing which is great to do on your wedding day, and allows for some really great photography, is a tour of the reservoir on the Rutland Belle – your wedding guests will love to have a drink (and hopefully cake) on the boat as it sails around the water, giving you amazing views of the church and Normanton Park Hotel itself.

Normanton Park Hotel

Normanton Park Hotel offers a truly superb location, situated on the shores of Rutland Water, next to the world famous Normanton Church Museum. Rutland Water is Europe’s largest reservoir.

So if sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, cycling, fishing or rock climbing floats your boat, they’re perfectly placed!

A great place to stay for all the family, this delightful hotel enjoys beautiful views from the bedrooms. You’ll be staying in an original hotel building that dates back to 1829, so there’ll be plenty to feast your eyes on inside too!

Whether you’re walking, fishing, cycling or of course, sleeping, the Best Western Normanton Park Hotel is as warm and friendly a hotel as you’ll find.

Normanton Park Hotel is the remnants of the extensive manor and parkland created in the 1700’s by the Heathcote family. The Hotel boasts excellent food, beautiful water view accommodation and attentive service. The perfect venue whatever your occasion, a weekend break, dinner for two or your perfect wedding day.
