Haybales Farm Wedding Photographer
As a documentary wedding photographer, I’m always excited by venues that give couples the freedom to make their day their own. Haybales Farm is exactly that — a family-run tipi wedding venue on a working farm, offering a complete blank canvas. Every couple brings something different to the space, and that’s why I love photographing here.
Looking for other Rutland wedding venues? I have you covered.

A Rustic Tipi Venue in the Countryside
Haybales Farm is set in the heart of the countryside, surrounded by open fields and wide skies. It’s a tipi wedding venue that feels relaxed and authentic, perfect for couples who want something more personal than a hotel or manor house. The family behind the farm are passionate about helping each couple shape their day, and because the space is so flexible, no two weddings ever look the same.
Whether you’re planning long banquet tables, street food trucks, or a festival-style party with live music, Haybales Farm adapts to your vision. For me as a photographer, that variety is a dream — it means I get to capture real moments in a setting that always feels unique.

Chloe and Cameron’s Haybales Farm Wedding
One of my favourite weddings at Haybales Farm was Chloe and Cameron’s. Their day summed up what makes this venue so brilliant: relaxed, full of energy, and completely personal to them. The music from The Hound Dogs kept the atmosphere buzzing all night, while a grazing table, ice cream van, and even a bucking bronco gave guests something to talk about long after the day was over.
It’s this kind of personality that Haybales Farm makes possible. There’s no formula here — just the space to create a wedding that reflects you as a couple. That’s one of the many reasons I love being a Haybales Farm wedding photographer.
Natural, Candid Moments All Day Long
From a photography perspective, Haybales Farm is packed with opportunities. The tipi itself looks incredible lit up at night, and during the day the fields around the farm give a beautiful natural backdrop for portraits.
Some of my favourite shots from Chloe and Cameron’s wedding were of their guests letting loose on the bucking bronco and the dance floor going wild as the evening went on. These are the kind of candid, unscripted moments I love capturing — real laughter, real reactions, and the atmosphere exactly as it was. Having me as your Haybales farm wedding photographer will ensure that you have all of these moments captured forever.
